This month Kernel.org got major system upgrades. According to post by John “Warthog9” Hawley, Chief Kernel.org Administrator says mirrors1, mirrors2, master and dynamic webhost box got upgrades. The upgrade has taken nearly a year in the making. This infrastructure is used to maintain, develop core of Linux kernel and hosts source code for Google's Android, various wikis, Linux bugzilla and internet bootable utilities.
Two of four machines were fully replaced. Machines were donated by Google with a generous discount from HP.
